Education, Services and
   Supports for All

At COPSA, we recognize common challenges faced by people with memory loss, their families, and their professional caregivers. We aim to provide education, services, and supports for all by addressing common needs as well as needs that are specific to certain individuals and groups. People who identify as LGBTQIA+ experience the same issues as other older Americans: changes in health and functional ability; memory loss; loneliness; challenges such as limited transportation, fixed income, ageism; and end-of-life concerns. However, they also may have experienced past or current harassment, discrimination, or benign neglect in health care and long-term care services.
